Nurture offerings attempt to engage our adult church family in conversation, debate, prayer, and understanding in the areas of Biblical study, Theology, spiritual development, current events, and social issues. Non-members are welcome! Child care will be provided for adult activities when needed. The European Reformations
A study of the Reformation from 1500 through 1650 with emphasis given to the social, economic and political factors that contributed to, resulted from, and interacted with the religious and spiritual struggles setting the stage for the development of modern Europe. It will introduce the conflicting theologies, personalities, and diverse reformations during this dynamic period.
Text: The European Reformations, (2nd ed.) by Carter Lindberg, a European scholar.
Last class this Spring will be May 2nd. After a summer recess, class will continue in the Fall. Date to be announced.
